What is Extended public key (xpub)? | Shieldz glossary

Extended public key (xpub)

A public key from which many receive addresses can be derived, without the ability to spend. Giving a processor your xpub lets it generate a fresh address per invoice while you keep the spending key. Shieldz only ever holds public keys like this.
