Shieldz is a non-custodial crypto payment processor built by Deniz Yanbollu (@dnzynbl) and the LeoKit team. Accept USDC and USDT across Base, Arbitrum, Optimism, Polygon, and Ethereum, plus native Bitcoin and shielded Zcash, with $0 platform fees and no KYC to start. For direct settlement, payments go straight from your buyer's wallet to your own, and Shieldz only watches the chain and tells you it landed. If a buyer pays in a different coin, the conversion runs through independent, non-custodial swap protocols and the settled token still lands in your own wallet. Either way Shieldz never holds your money, never asks you to connect a wallet or approve a token, and never asks for your seed phrase or private key, so it cannot drain or freeze your funds.
What is a crypto payment gateway?
A crypto payment gateway lets a business accept cryptocurrency and reliably receive what it is owed. Most gateways are custodial: they take the payment into their own accounts, deduct a fee, and pay you out later on their own schedule, which means a balance that can be frozen and a provider that can change its terms. Shieldz is different. It is non-custodial, so payments are never pooled with a third party. The buyer pays to an address that belongs to you, Shieldz confirms the payment on-chain, and the money is already yours. There is no withdrawal step, no payout delay, and no platform cut.
How Shieldz works
You give Shieldz a public receiving key or wallet address. For each order it derives a payment address that belongs to you, shows your customer a hosted checkout, watches the blockchain, and notifies your server the moment the payment settles with a signed webhook. If the buyer pays in a coin other than your settlement token, the conversion runs through independent, non-custodial routing (NEAR, Chainflip, and Relay via the LeoKit aggregator) and the final stable token still lands in your own wallet. You can integrate in three ways: a hosted checkout with no code, a Stripe-style REST API with official SDKs for Node, Python, Rust and PHP, or a free WordPress plugin for WooCommerce, Easy Digital Downloads and GiveWP.

Because settlement is final and on-chain, there are no chargebacks and no card-network fees.

Is it really free? Yes. There is a $0 platform fee on every payment. You pay only the coin's ordinary network gas, and for pay-with-any-coin the underlying swap protocol charges a small spread that Shieldz never takes.
Is it safe and non-custodial? Yes, and it is verifiable. Shieldz only ever stores a public receiving key, an extended public key, or a view-only key, so it can watch and derive addresses but can never sign, spend, or freeze your funds. You can confirm this yourself on the verify page.
Do I need to sign up or pass KYC? No. You can create a keyless payment link or tip jar from just a wallet address, and claim a full merchant dashboard later if you want one.
